A garden where you're never gardening alone

Our Story

It started with three neighbors and a vacant lot. Maria had seeds she'd been saving for years. James had a shovel and too much free time. And Linda — well, Linda had the vision.

That was 2018. Today, Roots & Bloom is 40 plots, 60 members, and one very full tool shed. We didn't set out to build an organization. We just wanted to grow something together.

Early days of the garden

Gardening should be simple

We handle the complicated stuff so you can focus on planting.

Everyone starts somewhere

First-timers welcome. No judgment. Our mentors remember their first dead tomato plant too.

We grow more than plants

Community, friendships, shared meals. The garden is just where it happens.
